Position: Cook/Dietary Aide

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift (5:30 AM - 1:30 PM) 

Anticipated Schedule: Tuesdays & Wednesdays

Compensation: $18-$20 per hour

Work Location: In person at 4405 Normal Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68506

Duties:

• Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using recipes
• Memorize and utilize serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
• Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards
• Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts
• Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on food service schedule
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more per day
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Excellent verbal communication and organization skills
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds at a tie on a regular basis

Experience: 

• 2+ years cooking experience preferred
