Position: RN/LPN
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day Shift (6a-6p) or Night Shift (6p-6a)
Compensation: Based on experience $10,000 Hire On Bonus Available
Work Location: In person at 1800 14th Ave. Nebraska City, NE 6410
Duties:
- Provide direct nursing care to the residents
- Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by professional and non-professional staff
- Supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid RN or LPN License
- BLS (CPR) Certification

Position: CNA/CMA
Job Type: Full Time and Part Time; $5000 Sign on Bonus (Full-Time)
Shift: Evening (2p-10p) & Night Shift (6pm-6am)

Compensation: Based on experience
- Evening shift staff get an additional $1.00 per hour differential starting at 2:00 pm
- Night shift staff get an extra $1.50 per hour differential starting at 10:00 pm
Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
- Help patients with personal hygiene.
- Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
Skills:
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
- Willing to become CNA and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Position: Activity Assistant

Position: Certified Medication Aide
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Night Shift (12 hour or 8 hour shift)
Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour **Night Shift staff get an additional $2.00 per hour differential starting at 2:00 PM**

Duties:
- Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document routine medications by the following routes: Oral, Gastrostomy Tube, Jejunostomy Tube, Eye, Ear, Nose, Topical, Rectal, Vaginal, Metered Dose Inhalation (MDI) that are commonly used in this facility and that may be ordered for resident use by the attending physician or the Medical Director only after competency return demonstration.
- Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document PRN medications by the following routes: Oral, Gastrostomy Tube, Jejunostomy Tube, Eye, Ear, Nose, Topical, Rectal, Vaginal, Metered Dose Inhalation (MDI) that are commonly used in this facility and that may be ordered for resident use by the attending physician or the Medical Director only after obtaining authorization from the supervising RN or LPN and performance of return demonstration competency evaluation.
- Observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied as directed. Document any instance where prescribed medication is not administered, including reason(s) for refusal.
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
- Maintenance and monitoring of oxygenation delivery systems. Fill portable oxygen tanks for resident use, when needed. Change oxygen flow from concentrator to portable and back again as needed. Adjust oxygen flow per physician’s order.
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
- Be familiar with the meaning and usage of common medical abbreviations, symbols, and terms relative to the administration of medications as used by the facility, pharmacists, and physicians.
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
Requirements:
- Certified Medication Aide License (40 hours) in accordance with the laws of this State.
- High School Diploma or GED

- Must be able to work with adult patients with varying degrees of conditions.

- Ventilator experience and all varying respiratory modalities strongly preferred.
Requirements:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) by the NBRC.
- Licensure in the State of Nebraska to practice respiratory care.
- Diploma in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited community college or university
