Position: Cook/Dietary Aide
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day Shift
Compensation: From $15.00 per hour (based on experience)
Work Location: In person at 115 Main St. Sidney, IA 51652
Duties:
- Complete food preparation tasks
- Cook and prepare meals according to recipes
- Cooperate in keeping the entire kitchen clean and in order at all times
- Fill-orders for between-meal nourishment
- Report equipment repairs needed to the Dietary Manager
- Prevent food waste
- Pour juices and beverages and serve on trays at correct temperature, neatly.
- Prepare and serve salads, fruits, dry cereals and cold breads.
- Wrap flatware in napkins
- Set up trays for meals
- Assist with tray service to residents in the dining area
- Be aware of resident nutrition needs or restrictions and follow all care plans
- Assemble, prepare for washing, and wash dishes

Position: Unit Manager Registered Nurse
Unit: Rehabilitation Unit
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday through Friday) with occasional on call.

Work Location: In Person at 4405 Normal Blvd. Lincoln, NE 68506
Duties:
Direct the day to day functions of the Short Term Rehab nursing department.
Coordinate nursing services with other departments.
Supervise the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients as required.
Develop departmental budget and control expenditures to meet requirements.
Consult on care plans, treatments, rehab, etc. as necessary.
Serve as liaison between hospitals, physicians, community agencies and other facility departments.
Monitor labor hour usage and adjust staffing accordingly.
Participate in patient rounds with physician as needed.
Monitor charts for accuracy and timeliness of all discipline documentation and initiate medication error reports, as needed.
Complete a monthly audit on issues as directed by Director of Clinical Services.
Monitor med passes for correctness.
Ensure that adequate staff is hired, trained, and on duty for each shift.
Assume “on call” status for staffing needs on a rotating basis.
Requirements:
Must possess a current, active license to practice as an RN in Nebraska.
BLS Certification (preferred)

$5000 Sign on Bonus (Full-Time)
- Evening shift staff get an additional $1.00 per hour differential starting at 2:00 pm
- Night shift staff get an extra $1.50 per hour differential starting at 10:00 pm
Duties:
- Assist in the administering of medications as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Clinical Services.
- The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this state.
- Maintain and accurately document medications as ordered by the attending physician, following facility policies and procedures
- Observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied as directed. Document any instance where prescribed medication is not administered, including reason(s) for refusal.
- Ensure that no medication is administered without a written, signed, dated order
- Verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication treatment.
- Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
- Help patients with personal hygiene.
- Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
Skills:
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
Requirements:
- Valid CNA & CMA Certification
- High School diploma or GED
Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
