Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our Nursing Home Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our residents. Your expertise in various hair techniques, along with your ability to connect with customers, will play a vital role in enhancing their overall salon experience.
No rental fees for space. Supplies provided as needed. May utilize space for outside clients.
Duties:
- Provide high quality hair styling services including cuts, colors, and wash & sets.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstation and tools according to salon standards.
Requirements:
- Valid cosmetology license or certification required.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with residents.

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Duties:
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Facility/Company’s Pulmonary program in concert with appropriate unit managers, RT coordinators, and physicians.
- Develop and maintain written policies and procedures that govern these areas.
- Assist unit managers in the development and use of policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and between departments so that each can realize the importance of following established policies.
- Keep abreast of current federal and state regulations as well as professional standards, and make recommendations on changes in policies and procedures to the President/CEO.
- Ensure that public information (policy manuals, etc.,) describing the services provided in the facilities is accurate and fully descriptive.
- In conjunction/coordination with the CEO/Administrator and Corporate President and Corporate CEO, develop and implement long range plans for the Facility/Company in its relation to Pulmonary Service satisfaction requirements.
- Support and promote the philosophy, goals, objectives, and programs of the Company’s Pulmonary Program.
- Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the activities and programs of the pulmonary services department.
- Schedule and participate in departmental meetings for pulmonary services.
- Provide support for the pulmonary services departments.
- Oversee all respiratory care products and assure products are meeting patients’ needs.
- Assist with associate productivity studies and time analysis studies for respiratory care.
- Review and evaluate respiratory care therapies to determine appropriateness of therapy.

Position: CNA/CMA
Job Type: Full Time and Part Time; $5000 Sign on Bonus (Full-Time)
Shift: All Shifts: Day (6am-2pm) Evening (2p-10p) & Night Shift (6pm-6am or 10pm-6am)

Compensation: Based on experience
- Evening shift staff get an additional $1.00 per hour differential starting at 2:00 pm
- Night shift staff get an extra $1.50 per hour differential starting at 10:00 pm
Duties:
- Assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals, turning and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
- Help patients with personal hygiene.
- Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings and therapeutic baths
- Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
- Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
- Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.
Skills:
- High School diploma or GED
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
- Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
- Willing to become CNA and be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
