Adult Pulmonary

For more than three decades, Ambassador Health's Adult Pulmonary Programs in Omaha and Lincoln have provided premier pulmonary care in a nurturing, private environment.  Whether your goal is short-term pulmonary and ventilator support or an extended stay, Ambassador Health will provide you with the highest level of care outside of the acute, hospital setting.

Under the leadership of a Board-Certified Pulmonologist, you or your loved one will be cared for with the latest, state-of-the-art ventilator equipment and a multi-disciplinary team of pulmonary specialists.  Ambassador Health’s Adult Pulmonary Program is recognized by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) as a “Quality Respiratory Care Provider.”

Ambassador Health has been named a Passy-Muir® Center of Excellence.  Through the national Centers of Excellence Program, Passy-Muir®, Inc. recognizes health care facilities that have developed a multidisciplinary team approach to the treatment of tracheostomized and ventilator dependent patients by utilization of Passy-Muir® Valves. Invented by a patient named David Muir, the Passy-Muir® Tracheostomy & Ventilator Swallowing and Speaking Valve is a medical device that is placed on the hub of a tracheostomy tube or in-line with the ventilator circuit to redirect air flow through a patient’s vocal folds, mouth, and nose enabling voice, improved communication, and a reduction in recovery time.

As a recognized Passy-Muir® Center of Excellence, Ambassador Health’s standard of care, including protocols, procedures, research, and publications, are published on the Passy-Muir®  website and made available to clinicians, patients, and families for reference.
