Duties:

  • Administer medications and document therapeutic effects

Compensation: From $85,000-$95,000 Per Year

The Director of Nursing is responsible for creating an atmosphere that provides for continuity of quality care and quality of life for all residents in the living area 24 hours per day. This is accomplished by providing clear direction and expectations to all employees about the philosophy of the area in which they work.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for the facility’s clinical services.
  • Ensure clinical services are provided in accordance with professional standards, regulatory requirements, and facility policies.
  • Ensure resident clinical needs are met and high-quality care is maintained.
  • Determine clinical staffing needs and assist with scheduling, recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of clinical staff.
  • Develop, review, implement, and improve clinical policies, procedures, systems, and practices.
  • Monitor clinical operations and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety, and resident outcomes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
  • Review clinical documentation, care plans, medication administration, treatments, and other clinical practices to support compliance and quality of care.
  • Address resident, family, and staff concerns, complaints, and grievances related to clinical services.
  • Plan and support orientation, education, and ongoing training for clinical staff.
  • Participate in regulatory surveys and assist with survey preparation, plans of correction, and ongoing compliance.
  • Review clinical data and trends to support operational planning, quality improvement, and risk reduction.
  • Assist with clinical budgets, resource utilization, equipment needs, and cost management under the direction of the Administrator.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with facility leadership, medical staff, residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Stay current on changes in clinical practices, healthcare regulations, technology, and industry standards.
  • Ensure clinical staff follow established safety practices and maintain resident confidentiality.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or delegated by the Administrator.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related healthcare setting preferred.
  • Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the applicable state

Certified Dietary ManagerFull-Time Day ShiftLincoln

Position: Certified Dietary Manager

Job Type: Full Time

Compensation: Based on experience 

Responsible for overseeing the entire food service department, ensuring that all residents receive nutritious, safe, and appealing meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. A Dietary Manager plays a key role in both administrative management and clinical nutrition. 

Duties:

  • Direct and oversee the daily operations of the Dietary Department to ensure efficient, high-quality food service.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing dietary services.
  • Assist in developing, planning, and managing the department budget, including food, equipment, supplies, and labor costs.
  • Monitor departmental expenditures and promote cost-effective purchasing and resource utilization.
  • Ensure dietary staff understand and follow resident care plans when planning, preparing, and serving meals.
  • Coordinate meal services to meet residents' nutritional needs, preferences, physician orders, and individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Dietitian Consultant to develop therapeutic diets, menus, and nutritional interventions.
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and retaining dietary department personnel.
  • Provide leadership, training, supervision, and performance coaching to dietary staff.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Serve on facility committees and attend department head meetings and other meetings as assigned by the Administrator.
  • Evaluate dietary department operations and implement improvements to enhance resident satisfaction, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
  • Promote food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention practices throughout the dietary department.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and records required for regulatory compliance and departmental operations.

Skills:

  • Must have previous experience working in a long-term care facility as a Certified Dietary Manager.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents, and family.
  • Ability to operate and maintain all kitchen equipment, computer, and office equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current PT license in Nebraska (or compact eligibility) or eligible for licensure
  • CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Experience:

  • Acute care, rehabilitation, LTACH, SNF, or long-term care experience preferred
