Position: Dietary Manager

Compensation: Based on experience 


Responsible for overseeing the entire food service department, ensuring that all residents receive nutritious, safe, and appealing meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. A Dietary Manager plays a key role in both administrative management and clinical nutrition. 

Duties:

  • Menu and meal planning
  • Staff supervision and management
  • Policy Implementation
  • Budget and inventory management
  • Compliance and sanitation
  • Resident care and coordination
  • Food safety and sanitation
  • Staff training
  • Resident communication
  • Interdisciplinary communication and collaboration

Skills:

  • High School diploma or GED (Required)
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Service Management or Nutrition (Preferred)
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) (Preferred)/Certified Food Protection Professional (CFPP) (Preferred within 9 months of hire)
  • SERV Safe for Managers (Required within 30 days of hire)

Experience: Practical experience in food service, especially in a healthcare setting like a nursing home, is highly valuable. Supervisory experience is also a plus.
