What You'll Do
As a Respiratory Therapist, you'll provide specialized respiratory care for adult residents with a wide range of pulmonary conditions. You'll work closely with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing respiratory assessments
- Managing ventilators and tracheostomy care
- Administering oxygen therapy and respiratory treatments
- Monitory residents and responding to changes in respiratory status
- Educating residents and families
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best possible outcomes
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
- Current Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
Preferred:
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC
- BLS Certification
- Previous respiratory therapy experience
- Ventilator experience
