Nebraska City, NE – Ambassador Health will bring therapy services in house at its Sidney, Iowa, and Nebraska City, Nebraska, locations beginning October 1st, 2026. This completes a transition that began in 2025 at its Lincoln and Omaha locations.
Therapy plays an important role in helping residents regain strength, maintain independence, and work toward their individual goals. By bringing therapy staff onto its own team, Ambassador Health can support closer communication between therapists, nursing staff, and other caregivers involved in each resident’s care.
“We believe this is an important step in providing the best possible care for our residents,” said Tyler Juilfs, CEO of Ambassador Health. “When our therapy and care teams work together every day as Ambassador Health staff, they can get to know residents well, communicate more easily, and provide better continuity of care throughout their stay.”
The experience at Lincoln and Omaha helped Ambassador Health develop its in house therapy program. With Sidney and Nebraska City joining on October 1st, therapy services will be fully in house across Ambassador Health’s locations. Residents and families can continue to expect care focused on each person’s needs, progress, and goals.
