Lincoln, NE - Congratulations to the patients and residents of Ambassador Health of Lincoln that entered projects into the Nebraska State Fair and earned the prestigous award of "Reserve Champion Sweepstakes," a top honor in the Senior Competition category.
Over 4,000 entries were submitted into the competition. 14 transitional rehabilitation and extended care residents submitted projects that they personally created for a variety of catergories, such as: paper products, ornaments, holiday items, knit work, ceramics, beads, colored pictures, quilts, vases, clay, and wood. The patients and residents worked on their projects for approximately 30 hours and earned 1st through 10th place ribbons.
As the "Reserve Champion Sweepstakes" award winner, Ambassador Health of Lincoln will receive a grant to further benefit the life enrichment program.
