Important COVID-19 Information
A Message from Ambassador
Since the beginning of March 2020, COVID-19 has turned our world, as we know it, upside down. Throughout this historic pandemic, keeping our residents and team members healthy has remained our top priority. We continue to closely monitor information regarding the coronavirus and local updates that impact the communities that we serve.
With guidance provided by our medical directors, local health departments, the Nebraska and Iowa Departments of Health & Human Services, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Ambassador Health has remained diligent and proactive in our efforts to minimize exposure to the people that we care for. We continually monitor new information and adjust our protocols accordingly.
We know the visitation restrictions on our campuses can cause inconvenience for family members and friends. Ambassador Health understands the vital importance of keeping residents engaged with loved ones and encourages alternative means of communication for people who would otherwise visit, such as virtual communications (e.g. phone, video-communication). In addition, Ambassador Health has increased our efforts to keep residents’ loved ones informed about their care. Consistent communication with our residents and their loved ones is key during this time, and Ambassador Health is more dedicated than ever to insuring the safety, comfort, and overall well-being of those who have chosen us for their healthcare needs.
Vaccination Update
Ambassador Health is thrilled to report that each of our care campuses have received their COVID-19 vaccinations. Thank you to the residents and team members that have chosen to take this step and bring us closer to our goal of re-opening our doors to family and friends.
We are confident that as more time passes, and more people become vaccinated, that we will receive updated guidance and loosening of restrictions. Ambassador Health continues to monitor communication from the Nebraska and Iowa Departments of Health & Human Services and CMS to ensure that when new guidance is provided that we will be able to adopt it quickly at each care campus.
Thank you for your continued patience and support!
